Job summary

HES Facilities is seeking a floor care technician for the 2nd shift. You will perform carpet cleaning, floor scrubbing, sealing, waxing and burnishing, using a range of buffers and equipment. The role requires physical capability, reliability, and a team-focused approach.

High school diploma preferred; prior floor care experience is a plus. The company emphasizes equal opportunity employment and offers benefits with both full-time and part-time arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Carpet cleaning (bonnet and extract), scrubbing, sealing, waxing, and spray buffing floors.
• Operate high/low speed buffers up to 24" and 3000 RPM burnishing equipment.
• Maintain floor cleaning/finishing equipment (buffers, burnishes, extractor, carpet cleaners).
• Follow safety precautions for cleaning and maintenance.
• Must report with reliable transportation and team-focused attitude.

Job Skills / Requirements

Performs the following duties;

• Carpet cleaning (Bonnet and Extract), scrubbing, sealing, waxing, and spray buffing hard surfaces floors
• Must be able to operate high and low speed buffers up to 24 inch and 3000 RPM propane burnishing equipment
• Must be able to operate and maintain all floor cleaning/finishing equipment to include but not limited to floor buffers/burnishes, water extraction machine, and carpet cleaning equipment.
• Follow established safety precautions for cleaning and maintaining all areas of the facility
• Minimum QualificationsEducation: High school degree preferred but not required.Experience: Previous Floor care experience a plus.Requirements;
• Ability to reach, bend, push and pull.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Reliable Transportation
• Team focus approach requiring ability to work with others and take directions

Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks with production and service time frames as established by the company.
