Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is looking for a Maintenance Technician II to support manufacturing operations in Lithia Springs, GA on 2nd or 3rd shift. You will diagnose and repair electro-mechanical equipment, perform setup and preventative maintenance, and document work in the maintenance system.

Candidates should have 3+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience, knowledge of lock-out/tag-out, and the ability to read drawings and schematics. Safety and quality are top priorities.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in related field is desired.
• Minimum 3 years' maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of and experience with Lock-Out, Tag-Out procedures.
• Must be available for standby, off-hours and overtime as required.
• Able to read printed materials, blueprints, schematics.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex electro-mechanical problems with manufacturing equipment.
• Perform detailed setup on equipment including recipe changes and control adjustments.
• Repair and keep mechanical machine components in top operating condition.
• Perform simple to complex mechanical Preventative Maintenance Tasks following instructions.
• Troubleshoot the inputs and outputs on PLC and repair issues.
• Enter all work completed in computer-based maintenance program.
• Monitor and report spare parts usage including completing parts order forms.
• Train new and Level 1 mechanics in more complex tasks and skills.
