Job summary

Synergy Flavors, Inc. in Wauconda, IL is seeking a Dry Blending Packer Operator for the 3rd shift. You will pack flavors (powders, liquids, emulsions) per batch tickets, work with Batch Compounders, and ensure quality, safety, and efficiency in packaging operations.

Responsibilities include batching, data recording, CIP/cleaning, material transfers, and adherence to food safety practices. A high school diploma and ability to lift 50 lbs are required; flexibility for overtime is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to read batch tickets and labels accurately.
• Attention to detail and basic math skills required.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Follow safety policies and PPE requirements.
• Able to learn and follow procedures and document results.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Pack production batches and monitor equipment for safe, efficient operation.
• Record production data on forms/documents accurately.
• Follow CIP and cleaning guidelines.
• Transfer materials and set up equipment and packaging materials.
• Learn food safety concepts and their importance.
• Report quality or safety issues to leadership.
• Perform duties safely and without errors.
