Job summary

Synergy Flavors, part of the Carbery Group, is seeking a Dry Blending Packer Operator for the 3rd shift in Illinois. You will pack flavors (powders, liquids, emulsions) and work with Batch Compounders to ensure safety, quality and efficiency.

Reading labels, handling packaging, and maintaining accurate records are key duties. The role emphasizes food safety, attention to detail, and reliable performance in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Must be able to operate RF scanner and report batch quantities.
• Good attention to detail and basic math skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work safely.
• Follow safety rules, forklift policy and PPE requirements.
• Ability to communicate issues and problems clearly.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.
• Must learn and follow procedures and document records.

Responsibilities

• Pack production batches and monitor equipment for safe operation.
• Record production data on forms and documents accurately.
• Follow sanitary guidelines for CIP and cleaning.
• Transfer materials and set up equipment and supplies.
• Learn food safety concepts and their importance.
• Report product quality issues to leads or management.
• Maintain safety policies and complete duties without errors.
