Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is hiring a Yard and Dock Coordinator in Pryor Creek, Oklahoma for the 3rd shift (Sunday - Thursday, 10:00 pm - 6:30 am).

You will be the primary point of contact for dock-related activities, ensuring safe, efficient trailer movement and coordinating with operations, transportation, safety, and customer teams. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, adherence to safety standards, and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Warehouse or distribution experience in dock/yard roles.
• Ability to coordinate dock or yard activities in a fast-paced operation.
• Knowledge of trailer docking, release procedures, and trailer anatomy.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Follow defined processes and safety standards.
• Strong communication for daily customer-facing interactions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Champion operation safety and oversee dock equipment.
• Coordinate trailer movements and dock activities to support priorities.
• Manage trailer docking, release, and yard flow.
• Monitor dock conditions and escalate unsafe conditions.
• Collaborate with site operations, transportation, and customer teams.
• Communicate professionally with stakeholders.
• Ensure dock activities align with SWIs and safety standards.
• Support dock and yard organization following 7S standards.
• Conduct visual inspections and identify risks or delays.
• Use Office 365 and Google Suite to track activity and document issues.
• Provide coverage to site leadership and lead peers as needed.
