Job summary

Land O'Lakes, Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift at Vermont Creamery. You will lead frontline manufacturing operations, coach team members, and drive safety, quality, and efficiency in a dairy production environment.

The role reports to the Operations Manager and involves scheduling, reporting, and coordination with cross-functional teams to meet production goals. Experience in food manufacturing and GMP knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication, organization, decision-making, and follow-through.
• Ability to routinely stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, pull, pinch, and lift.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop manufacturing employees.
• Ensure production schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements are met.
• Promote GMPs, food safety, traceability, and compliance.
• Monitor equipment, workflow, capacity, and resource needs.
• Address operational issues through sound decision-making and problem-solving.
• Manage performance, resolve conflicts, and foster a positive team environment.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support operational goals.
• Complete scheduling, reporting, and administrative responsibilities using systems such as Workday.
