Job summary

Electrical Automation Services in Carol Stream, IL seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician with PLC programming and servo systems experience to install, configure and troubleshoot industrial controls. You will work on 480V, 3-phase power, solve PLC/HMI issues and perform preventive maintenance on conveyors and automation equipment.

The role requires a High School Diploma, hands-on PLC experience, and ability to work 3rd shift with overtime.

Qualifications

• Experience with PLCs and servo systems required.
• Proficient in reading electrical schematics.
• Experience with packaging equipment in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to work 3rd shift and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and troubleshoot photo eyes, proximity switches, limit switches.
• Program and troubleshoot PLC and HMI interfaces; ladder logic modifications.
• Troubleshoot Profibus, serial and industrial Ethernet networks.
• Perform preventive maintenance on Laser Guided Vehicles, conveyors, and production equipment.
