Electrical Automation Services in Naperville, IL is seeking a hands-on controls technician to install, configure and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and related automation equipment. You will work with 480V three-phase power, encoders, servo motors, VFDs, and read electrical schematics in a manufacturing setting to ensure smooth production operations.

The position is on-site, full-time, 3rd shift with overtime after 40 hours and double time after 48 hours.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrated experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
• Experience with packaging equipment in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Knowledge of safety procedures (lockout/tagout, PPE) preferred.

Aufgaben

• Install, configure and troubleshoot PLC input/output modules and associated control wiring.
• Troubleshoot analog and digital controls with 480V, 3-phase power distribution, motors, and drives.
• Program ladder logic and modify PLC control systems; work with HMI interfaces.
