Job summary

Chromalloy Carson City is seeking a CNC Operator to program, set up, and run CNC and conventional machines to produce high-quality parts that meet production specs. This hands-on role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as with a team.

You will work under supervision but manage your setup, quality checks, and daily tasks. The position offers a 3rd shift from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with overnight shift differential and a $1000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years CNC experience preferred
• Able to read and write in English
• Comfortable using handheld measuring tools
• Basic math skills for measurements and tolerances

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC and conventional machines
• Load programs and make simple edits when needed
• Set up machines, fixtures, tooling, and materials
• Run parts to production specifications
• Inspect and measure parts using handheld measuring tools
• Blend surfaces or remove excess material using hand tools or machines
• Modify parts as required to meet specifications
• Follow assembly and production requirements for new manufactured parts
• Use computerized tracking systems as needed
• Maintain 5S standards in your work area
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental rules
• Work within ISO / Total Customer Satisfaction (TCS) quality requirements
• Follow the Corporate Code of Ethical Standards

• Work effectively on your own or with the team
