Job summary

Chromalloy Carson City is seeking a CNC Operator to join our Blade Manufacturing team. You will program, set up, and operate CNC and conventional machines to produce critical aerospace components, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications.

In this hands-on role, you’ll load tools, edit programs, inspect parts with precision tools, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Shift: 3rd; overtime may be required and includes a $2–$4/hour differential and a $1,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years CNC machining or machine operation experience preferred.
• Experience using measuring tools and inspection equipment.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and specifications.
• Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC and conventional machines.
• Load and edit machine programs as needed.
• Set up tooling, fixtures, and materials.
• Produce parts to engineering and production specifications.
• Inspect and measure parts using precision measuring tools.
• Perform minor part modifications and finishing work.
• Follow assembly, production, and quality requirements.
• Utilize computerized production tracking systems.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Support 5S, Lean, and continuous improvement initiatives.
