Chromalloy Carson City is hiring a CNC Operator to set up, program, and run CNC and conventional machines for aerospace components. You’ll ensure parts meet specifications, load programs, and maintain tooling and fixtures for quality production.

The role requires 2+ years of CNC experience, strong math and measurement skills, and a safety‑minded, team‑oriented work style. Shift is 3rd, with potential weekends and a $1,000 sign‑on bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of CNC machining or machine operation experience.
• Experience using measuring tools and inspection equipment.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and specifications.
• Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC and conventional machines.
• Load and edit machine programs as needed.
• Set up tooling, fixtures, and materials.
• Produce parts to engineering and production specifications.
• Inspect and measure parts using precision measuring tools.
• Perform minor part modifications and finishing work.
• Follow assembly, production, and quality requirements.
• Utilize computerized production tracking systems.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Support 5S, Lean, and continuous improvement initiatives.
