Job summary

Advocate Health Care is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for a 0.9 FTE position on the 3rd shift in the Med Surg unit (IU 4th Floor). The role requires weekend and holiday rotation, and offers full-time benefits. Licensed CNA status with BLS is expected, with post-hire BLS certification if needed.

Position includes daily patient care under RN supervision, documentation in EMR, and adherence to hospital policies. 36 hours per week with a pay range of $20.80–$31.20 hourly.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to set priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assists RN with daily care of patients including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, activity orders and ambulation.
• Documents accurately in Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• Performs delegated tasks in patient care under daily direction and supervision of RN.
