Job summary

Care Initiatives in Iowa seeks a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join our compassionate care team across more than 40 skilled nursing communities. This full-time 3rd shift position includes every-other-weekend coverage, with a competitive hourly rate and shift differential.

You will assist residents with daily living activities, provide emotional support, monitor basic health needs, and collaborate with families and the health care team.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in Iowa or ability to activate certification.
• Strong commitment to resident care and teamwork.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, eating).
• Deliver emotional support and provide companionship.
• Interact with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
• Provide health monitoring including routine vital checks.
• Encourage resident recreation and therapeutic activities.
