Qualifications

What You’ll Do

• Lead sales efforts and act as the primary contact for assigned customer accounts
• Research, identify, and generate new sales opportunities through calls, emails, and lead analysis
• Develop a relationship with potential customers and grow it into a stable book of business
• Coordinate customer freight with available carrier equipment and provide competitive solutions
• Collaborate internally to exceed customer expectations and learn advanced sales strategies
• Mentor new hires and current employees on sales tactics, processes, and industry best practices
• Track progress of new hires and report insights to the Director of Sales
• Step in to lead the Sales team in the Director’s absence
• Work closely with leadership on pricing strategy, customer contracts, and closing deals
• Meet or exceed KPIs and department goals while growing your professional skills

What You Bring

• 1–3 years of experience in logistics, freight brokerage, or related sales environment preferred
• High school diploma or GED required; Associate/Bachelor’s in logistics, business, or related field preferred
• Professional proficiency in English (written and verbal)
• Experience with TMS/CRM platforms and intermediate Excel/Google Drive skills (pivot tables, vlookups, reporting)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
