Job summary

Baxter International Inc. is hiring for a Logistics Supervisor to manage Third-Party Logistics (3PL) supplier relationships and serve as the onsite Baxter liaison with the 3PL warehouse operations.

The role focuses on optimizing workflows, inventory control, and service levels to support business strategies. You will lead daily 3PL processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvements to maximize profitability and service quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations/Logistics or similar.
• 5-7 years related experience.
• Strong business acumen with understanding of inventory, transportation, KPI’s, and service levels.
• Ability to analyze data to address complex issues.
• Strong communications across all levels and geographies.
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
• Embraces change and recommends operational improvements.

Responsibilities

• Day to Day operations management onsite with 3PL management to ensure service levels and escalations.
• Improve all aspects of supply chain processes, tools and policies.
• Develops, implements, and executes daily 3PL management processes in support of fulfillment and business objectives.
• Maintain strong relationship with the 3PL to optimize performance and develop improvement strategies.
• Collaborate with ordering, sales, product managers, manufacturing, suppliers, distribution centers, and transportation to support business objectives.
• Guarantee inventory levels with Planning & Deployment teams and optimize inventory costs.
• Utilize IT and analytics to address issues and opportunities for decision making.
• Monitor KPIs and use data analytics to identify improvements.
• Oversee inventory accuracy including cycle counts and audits.
• Adhere to EHS SOPs and department requirements.
• Attend and lead daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reviews.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
