Job summary

Kitware, a U.S.-based research and development software company, seeks a PhD-level researcher to advance 3D vision across photogrammetry, calibration, and reconstruction from imagery and video. You will contribute to open-source projects like TeleSculptor, KWIVER, and Danesfield, and collaborate with researchers to publish findings at top venues.

You will engage with national security–oriented projects, participate in field tests, and have opportunities to present at major conferences.

Qualifications

PhD in Computer Science or related field.
Experience with multiview geometry to build 3D point clouds/meshes/NeRFs from imagery or video.
Experience with AI/ML methods for 3D reconstruction or camera calibration.
Strong software development practices; proficiency in C++ and/or Python.
Publication record in top-tier venues (CVPR/ICCV/ECCV).
Innovative problem solver with imagery-based challenges.
Experience collaborating in fast-paced teams; good communication.
US Citizens only for this position (contractual requirement).
Willing to pursue TS/SCI clearance if needed.

Responsibilities
