Construction Material Testing seeks a trained 3D scanning technician to operate handheld scanners (Artec Leo/Space Spider) on active inspection projects. You will capture data on site, verify it, process in Artec Studio, and deliver meshes and CAD-ready outputs for client use.

You should demonstrate hands-on experience with scanning, be able to read structural drawings, and travel to regional hubs for assignments with a valid license. Training and certifications are supported by the company.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience operating a handheld structured-light or laser scanner.
• Familiarity with Artec Studio or comparable scan-processing software; mesh cleanup and registration.
• Comfortable on active construction sites and in industrial plants; able to carry equipment and work outdoors.

Responsabilités

• Plan and execute handheld 3D scans of rebar and embeds before concrete placement and for various structures.
• Control drift on large objects with reference features and overlap.
• Verify capture completeness on site before leaving.
• Process scans in Artec Studio and export to STL, OBJ, E57, and CAD formats.
• Produce deviation maps, measurement reports, and anchor bolt reports against drawings or CAD.
• Build scan-to-CAD solids (STEP/IGES) for reverse engineering and fit-up checks.
