Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of pharmacy.
• CPR and immunization certifications required.
• Five years of pharmacy experience.
• Must be professionally competent with a license in good standing from the Nevada State Board of Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Manages day-to-day pharmacy operations in a closed-door 340B community health center pharmacy in accordance with state and federal regulations and company policies and procedures.
• Manages pharmaceutical inventory and ensures the security of pharmacy facility.
• Dispenses medications and provides immunizations and patient counseling.
• Ensures the accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions.
• Supports the mission of organization and promotes utilization of available programs and grants to help eligible patients access affordable medications.
• Manages pharmacy site budget.
• Travels regularly to NVHC clinics and dispensaries to perform site reviews and manage inventory.
