NVHC Pharmacy seeks a licensed pharmacist to oversee daily operations at a closed-door 340B community health center. Responsibilities include dispensing medications, immunizations, patient counseling, and ensuring prescription accuracy.
The role involves inventory control, budget management, and travel to NVHC clinics for site reviews. Nevada license and CPR/immunization certifications are required; minimum five years’ experience preferred.
Manages day-to-day pharmacy operations in closed-door 340B community health center pharmacy in accordance with state and federal regulations and company policies and procedures.
Manages pharmaceutical inventory and ensures the security of pharmacy facility.
Dispenses medications and provides immunizations and patient counseling.
Ensures the accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions.
Supports the mission of organization and promotes utilization of available programs and grants to help eligible patients access affordable medications.
Manages pharmacy site budget.
Travels regularly to NVHC clinics and dispensaries to perform site reviews and manage inventory.
