Job summary

Huntsville Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy 340b Analyst/Auditor to lead audits and investigations of the 340B drug program, develop monitoring protocols, and strengthen internal controls.

The role involves weekly/monthly audits, reporting findings to Pharmacy Services leadership, and evaluating new contract pharmacy partners while overseeing existing contracts.

Candidates with 340B auditing experience and knowledge of Cerner/EHR systems will thrive in this collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management or a similar field.
• PTCB and/or ICPT certified preferred.
• 340B auditing experience is a plus.
• Cerner experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of split-billing/third party administrator systems.
• Conduct weekly and monthly 340B audits of contract and in-house pharmacies.
• Develop/update 340B program reports detailing volume, value, and metrics.
• Manage multiple audits and track/report outcomes for compliance.
• Maintain reports to educate staff and management on 340B compliance and financial impact.
• Review outpatient retail pharmacy claims for 340B accumulations.
• Oversee inventory management of 340B items across inventories and contract pharmacies.
• Handle invoices related to contract pharmacies for payment.
• Evaluate potential new contract pharmacy partners and manage existing contracts.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities with pharmacy leadership.
• Cross-train with other 340B platforms and EHRs.
• Attend trainings and conferences as necessary.
