Job summary

Qualifications

• 2-year Associates degree minimum in Healthcare Admin, Finance, IT, analytics, or related field.
• Preferred: 4-year BA/BS in Healthcare Admin/Business, Finance, IT, analytics, or related field.
• 1–2 years' experience with pharmacy 340B.
• 2 years' experience in business, analytics, or auditing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; Epic EHR experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the 340B Drug Pricing Program and maintains the program’s standards.
• Ensures HRSA requirements for program qualifications are met.
• Works to continuously improve 340B program performance through surveillance and optimization.
• Serves as first step in scoping and escalating issues in collaboration with internal audits and 340B Auditors.
• Responsible for immediate communication and escalation of compliance issues or gaps in 340B program operations.
• Ensures compliant purchasing of 340B medications and provides real-time guidance to pharmacy buyers and staff on purchasing, inventory management, and other practices which maximize 340B compliance and savings.
• Assists leadership with ongoing training and communication for the 340B program; develops relationships for effective program management.
• Creates/maintains monthly reports of 340B program metrics and financial savings; analyzes reports and identifies cost savings and system improvements.
• Serve as the split billing software expert to troubleshoot software issues and improve functionality.
• Works with teams to coordinate integration of 340B software with the EMR and interfaces with contract pharmacies/providers.
• Ensures integrity of split billing software and reviews reports to identify improvements.
• Triage live-site issues within split billing software, EMR, or charge master related to 340B.
• Collaborate with Epic charge teams and master managers on corrective actions.
• Coordinate issue resolution with split billing software vendor.
• Ensure configurations align with revenue cycle/charging practices and Bon Secours Mercy Health policies.
• Acts as primary internal liaison to ensure 340B program utilization and compliance.
• Escalates compliance issues to stakeholders and the 340B Manager.
• Develops action plans to mitigate compliance concerns and implements changes.
• Participates in sub-committees to update 340B policies and procedures.
• Provides education to pharmacy staff and ensures alignment with 340B policies.
