Nanuet Honda, powered by Lithia Motors, is seeking a Dealership Accountant I to support daily financial operations at our Nanuet, NY location. The role focuses on contract submissions, vehicle-related accounting, and intercompany postings within an on-site office.

You will report to the Business Manager and collaborate with accountants across the APC to ensure accuracy and compliance while supporting growth and process improvements in our dealership accounting functions.

Formación

• 1+ year accounting experience; familiar with COA, debits and credits.
• Entry to mid-level Microsoft Excel skills.
• High School Diploma (required).
• 1+ years of auto industry experience in retail sales or customer service.

Responsabilidades

• Submit service contracts.
• Submit warranty contracts.
• Handle new car purchases and dealer trades.
• Record used car purchases.
• Process lien payoffs.
• Process cash receipts.
• Run regional check runs.
• Process and pay vendor invoices.
• Perform FTC reconciliation.
• Account for manufacturer monies (parts, warranty, incentives, etc).
• Post to intercompany accounts.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
