Job summary

Lithia & Driveway is seeking a Dealership Accountant I for its Union, NJ site. You will handle service and warranty contracts, while recording auto purchases and dealer trades in a on-site office setting. The role requires basic accounting experience and strong Excel skills, supporting payroll and intercompany postings.

• 1+ year accounting experience; familiar with COA, debits and credits.
• Entry to mid-level Microsoft Excel.
• High School Diploma (required).

Responsibilities

• Submission of Service Contracts
• Submission of Warranty Contracts
• New car purchases and Dealer trades
• Record used car purchases
• Request and process lien payoffs
• Process cash receipts
• Regional check runs
• Process and payment of vendor invoices
• FTC reconciliation
• Accounting for manufacturer monies (parts, warranty, incentives, misc)
• Post to Intercompany accounts
• Other responsibilities as assigned
