Job summary

Whirlpool Corporation in Southwest Michigan is seeking candidates for the Whirlpool Engineering Rotational Leadership Development (WERLD) program starting July 2027. This three-year program builds a strong engineering foundation and features three 12-month rotations across product development, R&D, and systems engineering.

Participants receive formal mentorship, leadership exposure to senior leaders, and opportunities to pursue Lean Six Sigma training.

Qualifications

• Completion of Bachelor's or Master's degree by May 2027 with a minimum 2.8 cumulative GPA.
• Majoring in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering/Science, Mechatronics, Materials Science, or relevant engineering field.
• Must have indefinite US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• All candidates will complete an online assessment as a next step in the recruitment process.
• Program consists of 3 rotations of 12 months each focusing on engineering and technology from a global product perspective.
• Develop leadership, technical, and cross-functional competency across rotations.
• Assignments focus on Product Development, Research & Development, Systems Engineering, and related areas.
• Present to senior leadership each rotation to champion initiatives and build your network.
