Job summary

National Fitness Partners, the Planet Fitness partner, is seeking a part-time Customer Service Representative in North Olmsted, OH 44070. Starting pay is $12 per hour with a 3–4 day weekly schedule (2pm–10pm or 3pm–10pm) and hourly increases at 180 days, 1 year, and every 6 months after the first year.

You will assist members, help sign-ups, handle inquiries, and promote fitness programs while maintaining a clean club environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must be 18 years or older
• Basic computer proficiency

Responsibilities

• Provide a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, guests and prospective members.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up new members, and log amenities
• Respond to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the POS system
• Promote fitness instruction classes to active and new members
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe club environment

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system
• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

QualificationsJob Requirements:

• Customer service experience
• High school diploma/GED equivalent preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Basic computer proficiency

Physical Demands:

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
