Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Marion, Ohio is hiring a Production Associate for the 2nd shift to fabricate components for final window assemblies. This fast-paced, physically demanding role involves repetitive tasks, heavy lifting, and using hand or power tools to read work orders and build products.

You will mass-produce windows and doors, assist with material delivery and handling, and help train new crew members.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
• Authorized to work in the US.
• Able to pass a background check and drug test.
• Ability to carry out written or verbal instructions.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.
• Preferably with experience in manufacturing.
• Preferably with experience reading a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units.
• May support the window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading of materials or windows.
• Perform any workstation function using hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers.
• Read and carry out simple written instructions.
• Read work orders, labels, and schedules.
• Use a tape measure and read measurements during interview; inspect for defects.
• Operate equipment needed to perform the job.
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees.
