Klöckner & Co SE in York, PA is seeking a Welder to join our fabrication team on the 2nd shift (2:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.).

You will perform welding tasks with shielded metal arc and gas metal arc equipment, in flat, vertical, or overhead positions, to produce customer orders accurately and on schedule. You must have at least 1 year of industrial welding experience, be able to read blueprints, and pass a weld test if required.

Qualifications

• 1 year or more industrial fabrication welding experience; weld test may be required.
• Ability to read blueprints and job specifications; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate welding equipment for flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
• Maintain safety practices and adhere to company safety protocols.
• Prepare surfaces and align parts before welding; inspect workpieces for defects.
• Fabricate products to match production specifications; monitor welding processes for quality.
