Job summary

PRL, Inc. is seeking a skilled Welder to fabricate and repair metal components. You will interpret blueprints and apply welding processes SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, and GTAW to ensure parts meet stringent specifications.

The role requires 3+ years welding experience, the ability to operate overhead crane and forklift, and strict adherence to safety protocols and quality standards on a fast-paced shop floor in Lebanon, PA.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; advanced education preferred.
• Experience: 3+ years welding-related experience.
• Skills: Follow weld procedures to repair and fabricate metals using SMAW/FCAW/GMAW/GTAW; operate handheld grinders.

Responsibilities

• Understand blueprints/drawings and apply design aspects to projects.
• Pass internal weld test SMAW/FCAW quality checks.
• Position, align, fit, and weld parts per blueprints and layouts.
• Verify conformance to specifications and structural soundness.
• Review engineering drawings and material requirements for tasks.
• Operate overhead crane and forklift.
• Perform daily maintenance checks on equipment.
• Dimensional inspection of products with standard measuring tools.
• Meet all quality assurance standards.
• Complete safety training for welding position.
• Maintain housekeeping in the work area.
• Follow safety and operating procedures and policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
