Job summary

Atkore in Cartersville, GA is seeking a Welder for the 2nd shift (4:00pm-12:30am, Mon-Fri). The role focuses on welding aluminum cable trays, reporting to the Welding Supervisor. Candidates should have 6+ months welding experience, be able to read a tape measure, and possess a high school diploma or GED.

A Technical School Welding Certificate is preferred, with overtime as needed. Ideal applicants can squat, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs and will work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing

Qualifications

• 6+ months welding experience.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Technical School Welding Certificate preferred.
• Ability to squat, bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
• Willing to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Weld aluminum cable trays as part of the production process.
• Operate welding equipment and ensure quality joins.
• Follow lean manufacturing practices and safety guidelines.
• Support daily operations and communicate with the Welding Supervisor.
