Atkore is seeking a Welder I for the day shift in Houston, TX. The role involves welding various cable tray products, reading blueprints, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with emphasis on safety and quality.

Candidates should have at least 6 months of welding experience, the ability to read a tape measure, and be able to work a 10-hour shift with overtime as needed. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for cross-training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent (preferred).
• Technical School Welding Certificate (preferred).
• 6+ months welding experience.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to stand and work a 10-hour shift in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed.

Responsabilités

• Perform setup, adjustments and operation of welding machines within the department.
• Interpret drawings and fabricate based off blueprints.
• Fabricate per customer requirements adhering to specifications.
• Actively participate in Atkore’s safety program.
• Cross train in different areas of the shop as required.
• All other duties as assigned.
