Job summary

Belmark Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking a Web-to-Print Pouch Operator Trainee (2nd Shift) to be trained on setting up and operating a pouch machine, producing high-quality packaging products. Trainees must demonstrate proficiency in equipment operation, safety procedures, and quality standards.

May assist in other departments as needed. The role offers hands-on training in a fast-paced printing and packaging environment with a strong safety culture and room for growth within Belmark’s team.

Qualifications

• English language proficiency required (writing, speaking, reading).
• Regular attendance; overtime may be required.
• Excellent concentration and attention to detail.
• Able to use ruler, calculator and basic hand tools.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations.
• Near-vision for color and registration accuracy.
• Able to operate machinery with hands/feet; some bending.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally; may lift up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures and uphold Safe Quality Foods standards.
• Complete training to operate a pouch machine safely.
• Assist with pouch machine setup and operation.
• Ensure quality attributes are met during production runs.
• Pack pouches per customer configuration.
• Perform quality checks and adjust machines as needed.
• Record raw materials and final pallet counts.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
