Job summary

Dover Food Retail in South Chesterfield, VA is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensure safe receipt, storage and dispatch of goods, and lead a team focused on safety, quality and productivity.

You will drive continuous improvement, manage staffing and training, and coordinate cross-functional efforts to meet manufacturing schedules and shipping requirements. Strong leadership and Lean experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal communication with the ability to influence all levels of the organization.
• Knowledge of supervisory and leadership techniques and principles.
• Strong demonstrated experience in Lean, Kaizen, and/or Six Sigma is desired.
• Proven leader with experience managing within a large manufacturing organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day warehouse operations including order picking, verification, and material staging to ensure inventory accuracy and on-time shipments.
• Drive a safety-conscious culture and ensure OSHA guidelines are followed.
• Forecast staffing, workload, and performance to meet business demands and improve productivity.
• Develop KPIs and drive continuous improvement across departments.
