Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 3rd shift in South Chesterfield, VA. The role leads team leads and hourly staff to meet production targets safely, on time, and to quality standards.

You will develop daily standard work, drive continuous improvement, and coordinate with other departments to ensure timely, safe operations and strong inventory control. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a leadership position (team lead, supervisor, etc.).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to team leaders and front-line hourly production team members.
• Ensure a safe work environment, define expectations, coach/teach/train associates, ensure accountability and feedback.
• Develop and audit daily standard work; drive continuous improvement and root cause analysis.
• Maintain production schedule meeting quality and productivity requirements.
• Collaborate with supply chain, quality, shipping and other departments to meet targets.
