Job summary

Dover Food Retail in Chesterfield, VA is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for the 2nd shift to lead daily warehouse operations, ensure safe receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, and coach a team to achieve performance targets.

You will drive continuous improvement through Lean/Six Sigma practices, manage staffing and training, monitor inventory accuracy, and coordinate with Plant 1 and Plant 2 to support production schedules while maintaining high service levels.

Qualifications

• BS degree (or higher) in business, engineering, or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years in a leadership position within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, and shipping.
• Drive a safety-conscious culture and ensure OSHA standards are met.
• Forecast staffing, workload and performance to meet business demands and productivity goals.
• Monitor inventory accuracy, conduct cycle counts, and manage KPI reporting for continuous improvement.
