Job summary

MITER Brands is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 4:00pm–1:00am) in Sacramento, CA. You will oversee 20–25 staff, ensure safe, efficient loading operations, and coordinate with inside sales, production, and customer service to meet delivery goals.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of supervision in manufacturing, strong communication, and Lean/5S experience, with a focus on coaching, problem solving, and cost control.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Some college preferred.
• 2–3 years warehouse experience.
• Prior warehouse supervision in manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of 5S/Lean manufacturing practices desirable.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the loading activities of Milgard products.
• Coordinate and schedule warehouse activities to meet customer expectations while optimizing loads.
• Review paperwork to plan work activities and balance loads.
• Handle employee disciplinary issues, coaching, verbal and written warnings.
• Communicate with staff and solve problems to keep warehouse running smoothly.
• Manage department expense accounts and support order fulfillment with various teams.
• Interface with Production, Delivery, HR and other management members.
• Create and execute MPS objectives within guidelines; meet commitments.
• Uphold Milgard values and safety regulations; ensure personnel safety.

Job DescriptionPay Range: $76,000 - $95,000 depending on relevant experience and qualificationsMITER Brands is a residential window and door manufacturer that provides a leading portfolio of window and door brands for the new construction and replacement segments. MITER Brands, also known as Milgard, MI Windows & Doors and PGTI is one of the nation’s largest suppliers of vinyl windows and patio doors, with plants across the country.This Warehouse Supervisor is a member of plant leadership team. This position is responsible for the overall supervision of the warehouse and loading operation to include Stockers and Loaders. This position will be overseeing between 20-25 employees, both Lead and regular warehouse employees. Responsible for the safe and efficient day-to-day operation of the warehouse and loading operation.This position will supervise the 2nd shift which runs Monday – Friday from 4:00pm – 1:00am. Flexibility is required as needed to meet the needs of the business and our customers, and this could include occasional Saturday work.ResponsibilitiesOversee the loading activities of Milgard products.Responsible for the coordination and scheduling of warehouse activities to meet and exceed customers’ expectations while optimizing loads and minimizing work hours.Review all paperwork in order to plan work activities, schedule appropriate personnel and balance loads.Prior experience handling employee disciplinary issues, including coaching, verbal and written warnings.Effectively communicates with all staff and problem-solves to ensure optimal running of the warehouse.Manage expense accounts for department personnelSupport the order fulfillment process by working extensively with inside sales representatives, production personnel, customer service and creditExperience interfacing with other key departments including Production, Delivery, Human Resources and other members of the management team.Create and execute MPS objectives; meet MPS commitments and work within the guidelines of MPSReflect Milgard business values and Milgard Philosophy in all business interactionsEnsure safety of personnel and compliance with all applicable health and safety regulationsThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees in this position.
