Job summary

MITER Brands in Temperance, MI is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead the Day Shift on the insulated glass fabrication line, ensuring safety, quality and productivity. This role requires hands-on leadership and effective communication with the team.

The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of frontline leadership in manufacturing, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience, and the ability to read drawings and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience to perform essential functions.

Responsibilities

• Leads by example with respect to safety, quality, and productivity.
• Schedules and directs team members on the production line with clear task expectations.
• Provides feedback, coaching, and development opportunities for team members.
• Maintains time and production records daily.
• Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve manufacturing methods and equipment performance.
• Maintains overall safety of employees and conducts hazard assessments and incident follow-ups.

Job DescriptionPay Range: $69,000 - $85,000 depending on relevant experience and qualificationsThis position will supervise the Day Shift that runs Monday – Friday from 6:00am – 2:30pm. Must be flexible to work overtime as needed (shift will sometimes extend up to 2 hours when required to meet the needs of the business & our customers).MITER Brands is a residential window and door manufacturer that provides a leading portfolio of window and door brands for the new construction and replacement segments.
