Job summary

Dover Food Retail in South Chesterfield, VA is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for the 2nd shift to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, ensure safe receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials, and lead a team toward on-time shipments and inventory accuracy.

You will drive Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, manage staffing, budgeting, and KPIs, and partner with plant teams to improve safety, quality, and productivity while maintaining compliance with OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• BS degree (or higher) in business, engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of manufacturing experience.
• 3+ years in a leadership role within manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations and ensure safe receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
• Drive 6S and OSHA-compliant safety practices and continuous improvement.
• Forecast staffing, workload, and performance to meet business demands.
• Develop KPIs and monitor improvements in safety, quality, and productivity.
• Coordinate dock operations and inventory reconciliation to maintain accuracy.
