Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for our South Chesterfield, VA facility to lead daily warehouse operations and drive continuous improvement. You will oversee receiving, storage, picking, and shipping, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time performance.

You’ll coach a team through lean practices, perform 6S audits, and develop KPIs to measure impact while coordinating with Plant 1 and Plant 2 to support production schedules and inventory control.

Qualifications

• BS degree (or higher) in business, engineering, or other applicable discipline.
• 7+ years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• 3+ years in a leadership position within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including order picking, pick verification, and material staging to ensure high levels of inventory accuracy, on-time shipments, and efficient workflow execution.
• Coordinate dock operations and internal material movement to support manufacturing schedules and shipping requirements.
• Supervise cycle-count activities, material location verification, and inventory reconciliation to maintain accurate systems and improve location accuracy.
• Develop KPIs to track improvements and monitor growth in each responsible area.
• Foster continuous improvement and coach lean objectives across the team.
