Job summary

Dover Food Retail seeks a Team-lead, Materials for the 2nd shift, onsite in Chester, VA. You will oversee Material Handlers, assign tasks, and drive timely, accurate shipments while maintaining safe, organized warehouse operations.

Ideal candidates have forklift experience, 1–3 years in warehousing, AS400 and MS Office familiarity, and a track record of improving 6S and inventory processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; forklift certification preferred.
• 1–3 years related warehouse experience; AS400 and MS Office skills preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee tasks assigned to Material Handlers and prioritize workflow.
• Ensure safety, quality, and housekeeping standards are met.
• Plan and execute quarterly physical inventories and 6S audits.
• Collaborate with management, traffic and shipping to resolve issues.
• Operate lift truck to move products as needed; overtime may be required.
