Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a Warehouse Receiving Supervisor for the 2nd shift in Chesterfield, VA. You will oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, ensure safe receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, and lead a team to meet production schedules with accuracy and timeliness.

Responsibilities include driving 6S and lean initiatives, coordinating dock and internal material movement, and developing KPIs to track improvements while upholding OSHA standards and quality.

Qualifications

• BS degree (or higher) in business, engineering, or other applicable discipline or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years or relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment
• 3+ years in a leadership position within a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean environment that enhances plant safety.
• Drive a safety conscious culture and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Manage departmental goals: safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity.
• Forecast staffing and workload to meet demands.
• Supervise daily warehouse operations including order picking and material staging.
• Coordinate dock operations and internal material movement.
• Develop KPIs to track improvements.
• Lead continuous improvement and lean initiatives.
