Cardinal Health in Columbus, OH is seeking a Supervisor, Warehouse Operations to lead a team of inbound/outbound associates on the second shift. You will ensure safe, efficient pick, pack and ship operations and oversee receiving, replenishment and returns.

The role emphasizes coaching staff, meeting productivity metrics, and driving continuous improvement while maintaining high quality and on-time shipments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
• 2-3 years of experience, preferred
• Experience with continuous improvement projects and initiatives preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Previous experience leading a team preferred
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables and spreadsheets)
• Experience working within Warehouse Management Systems (Manhattan) preferred
• Can hire a team and hold individuals accountable for results
• Understand the importance of Lean Six Sigma principles and the connection to product flow
• Contribute to a work environment shows respect for every individual through the relentless pursuit of standardized work

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select, train, and evaluate a team of warehouse associates to meet distribution timelines.
• Monitor productivity and quality metrics; provide timely feedback and corrective action.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Gemba walks, Kaizen, takt boards).
• Schedule daily workforce to ensure efficient picking, replenishment, restocking, locating and shipping.
• Coordinate maintenance of equipment and coordinate repairs.
• Engage in employee development through training, coaching, and performance reviews.
• Prepare ad hoc reports using Excel or similar tools.
• Enforce safety and compliance with OSHA, DEA, FDA, state and local regulations.
• Assist with audits and safety training documentation.
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills.
• Build strong teams by providing opportunities for growth.
• Champion innovation and standardization of processes.
