Job summary

Cardinal Health in Groveport, Ohio, is seeking a Supervisor, Warehouse Operations to lead a team of inbound/outbound associates on the second shift. You will ensure safe, efficient pick, pack, and ship processes and drive continuous improvement, coaching staff and meeting productivity targets.

Responsibilities include daily staffing, equipment maintenance coordination, safety compliance, and development of staff through training and performance reviews.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
• 2-3 years of experience, preferred.
• Experience with continuous improvement projects and initiatives preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous experience leading a team preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables and spreadsheets).
• Experience working within Warehouse Management Systems (Manhattan) preferred.
• Understand Lean Six Sigma principles and their connection to product flow.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select, train, manage and evaluate a team of warehouse associates to achieve timely distribution and receipt of products.
• Monitor productivity standards and hold staff accountable to metrics; provide timely feedback.
• Coordinate continuous improvement initiatives and training activities.
• Schedule daily workforce to ensure productive picking, replenishment, restocking and shipping.
• Coordinate maintenance of equipment and oversee repairs.
• Develop staff through coaching, counseling, and performance appraisals.
• Prepare ad hoc reports using Excel or other programs.
• Enforce safety compliance and regulatory standards (OSHA, DEA, FDA, state/local).
