Job summary

DSV is seeking an Operations Supervisor for the 2nd shift (Special Assignment) at our USA Port Reading facility. You will supervise inbound/outbound activities, labor planning, and customer communications while meeting productivity and safety targets.

The role requires 3+ years in logistics, 1 year in supervision, and the ability to operate MHE. You will lead staff, train teams, and ensure SOP compliance in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience in a logistics/distribution environment.
• 1 year experience in a supervisory role.
• Able to operate material handling equipment (MHE).

Responsibilities

• Supervise warehouse staff and ensure safe, efficient operations daily.
• Plan daily work schedules and assign duties to staff.
• Monitor KPI performance and report progress to management.
• Coordinate training and professional development for team members.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and company policies.
• Collaborate with HR on staffing, evaluations, and performance reviews.
