Job summary

NFI in Tracy, CA is seeking a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to lead day-to-day warehouse activities on the 2nd shift. The role focuses on supervising staff, meeting daily production goals, and coordinating shipping/receiving, safety, and equipment utilization.

The position requires a relevant degree or supervisory experience, familiarity with warehouse management systems, and strong communication skills. A competitive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field, or 1–5 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (Manhattan preferred).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements shipping and receiving work schedules and assignments to assure effective and efficient operations to meet goals
• Provides direct supervision to warehouse personnel matching skill and background of personnel to work required
• Supervises inbound and outbound shipments to ensure correct and timely execution
• Ensures equipment is utilized efficiently and coordinates maintenance
• Drafts and submits daily end of shift report
• Coaches and mentors staff; participates in talent development and performance reviews
