Job summary

CEVA Supply Chain in Indiana seeks an Operations Supervisor to lead warehouse daily operations, supervise a small team, ensure safety, quality, and KPI attainment, and coordinate resources.

This exempt role offers growth, hands-on leadership, and cross-functional collaboration; you’ll implement 5S standards, manage schedules, and report on performance to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; no prior work experience required.
• Military rank E-6, E-7, O-1 or O-2.
• Minimum six months of experience in a warehouse or supply chain with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Supervise at least two full-time direct reports, including hiring recommendations and performance management.
• Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly production activities within warehouse operations.
• Prepare and distribute operational reports to support day-to-day activities.
• Ensure schedules are implemented correctly and jobs are assigned and completed effectively.
• Manage vacation and time-off scheduling to minimize disruption.
• Actively lead and supervise teammates on the floor, engaging in daily operations.
• Conduct daily startup meetings to communicate work instructions and safety practices.
• Drive teammate excellence through coaching and corrective actions.
• Promote safety through weekly meetings, training, JHA reviews, and walkthroughs.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment aligned with 5S standards.
• Supervise team operations to meet KPIs.
• Develop a productive work team through cross-training and motivation.
• Facilitate seamless handoffs and communicate key information across teams.
• Provide courteous customer service in high-pressure situations.
• Ensure inventory integrity and assist with counts.
• Support the Operations Manager with special projects as needed.
• Assist in maintaining facility security.

Education

Bachelor's degree in related field
