Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Clayton, IN is seeking a 2nd shift Logistics Supervisor to lead the daily operations of the Logistics Department, including document preparation and traffic coordination for inbound consolidations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.

The role requires strong leadership, a high school diploma or GED (bachelor’s preferred), and several years of supervisory and industry experience; proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software is important, with a focus on service to internal

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
Minimum 4 years of related experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory/lead role.
Minimum 3 years of industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise and provide control oversight for all department activities; conduct annual performance reviews.
Develop and provide excellent service to internal and external customers.
Set up files for all documents and records relevant to the consolidation.
Receive, review and process inbound documentation for an assigned base of accounts; provide written quotations as requested by customers.
Manage pre-alerts daily to determine freight arrival and notify customers; ensure documents reach branch within one working day.
