Job summary

CEVA Logistics is seeking a 2nd Shift Ops Supervisor I in Plainfield, IN. The role directs daily activities, leading a team to meet production, safety, and quality targets while coordinating with planning, inventory, and quality departments.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED with 4+ years of experience and at least 1 year of supervisory experience; a bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred. Competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 4+ years related experience; 1+ year supervisory experience; Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Working knowledge of ITAR, Import Brokerage, Export Compliance, Hazmat Regulations and recordkeeping; professional certifications may be required.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications.

Responsibilities

• Achieve safety, line utilization and quality performance standards.
• Exceed customer SLA while minimizing labor costs.
• Track KPIs/costs and correct trends affecting targets.
• Oversee equipment reliability to minimize downtime.
• Supervise up to 60 production line associates.
• Set up and operate equipment per work orders and procedures.
• Train and coach employees on work instructions and policies.
• Mentor team leads on leadership skills.
• Balance labor to meet daily needs and minimize overtime.
