Job summary

Home Chef is seeking a Warehouse Lead for a 2nd shift (3:00 PM–11:30 PM) in California. You will organize associates, manage daily task progress, and train staff on SOPs and safety.

The role emphasizes leadership, inventory control, and on-floor supervision to ensure timely, safe production and shipping operations. You will mentor teams in Netsuite and WMS systems, maintain records, and uphold quality standards across receiving, production, and outbound shipping.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, or inventory.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Word; ability to use handheld data logging equipment.
• Previous leadership experience in a warehouse environment is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate activities of workers assigned to receiving dock.
• Oversee receiving accuracy and dock maintenance to company standards.
• Train team on Netsuite and WMS systems and ensure SOP compliance.
• Assign tasks via Warehouse Drop List and manage progress to meet shift requirements.
• Train on PIT operation and ensure end-of-shift cleanup and proper storage.
• Monitor progress and escalate issues to prevent production delays.
• Maintain records and inventory spreadsheets for reliability.
