Job summary

Home Chef is seeking aProduction Lead for 2nd shift (4 PM to 12:30 AM) with Mondays and Tuesdays off. You will guide production associates during portioning, meal bagging/kitting, and shipping, train staff, and ensure SOPs, GMP, and safety standards are followed.

You will collaborate with the supervisor to meet daily targets while minimizing waste and coordinating with the warehouse. You’ll manage line setup, equipment readiness, labeling, and count outputs, while maintaining quality checks and

Qualifications

• General high school degree, or equivalent.
• Strong attendance and performance record as a Home Chef production associate is required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train assigned production employees and follow supervisor's plan for the day.
• Set up portioning, meal bagging/kitting, and shipping lines per SOPs.
• Communicate targets and expectations to associates and monitor performance.
• Ensure safety, GMP compliance, and proper waste management on the line.
• Coordinate with warehouse to prevent downtime due to shortages.
• Count output and manage inventory per SOP; promote a safe, clean work environment.
