Job summary

Dexter is seeking a 2nd Shift Warehouse Lead at the Springfield Distribution Center to guide daily operations, ensure accurate receiving, storage, and order fulfillment, and reinforce safety standards.

In this hands-on leadership role, you will supervise warehouse associates, coordinate tasks, operate forklifts, monitor inventory, and partner with supervisors to drive productivity in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of warehouse or distribution experience.
• Lead or senior associate experience preferred.
• Familiarity with WMS and RF scanners.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support warehouse associates during assigned shifts.
• Prioritize and assign tasks including picking, packing, loading, receiving, and replenishment.
• Ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts.
• Promote and enforce safety policies and procedures.
• Communicate shift updates and collaborate with supervisors.
